SportsTG provides digital solutions and technologies to grassroots sport in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and other international markets. It serves more than six million active sports participants and 60,000 grassroots clubs, publishing 115,000 match results each month.
The transaction creates the first truly global youth sports technology company, a statement from Blue Star Sports said, which is also backed by Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, and global investment firm Providence Equity.
Blue Star Sports said the deal also extends its solutions across all major global sports and brings its user base to more than 40 million worldwide.
